The Artist: Robert Plant

Though a Brit, Robert Plant, the former lead singer of the rock band, Led Zeppelin, was highly influenced by by the dynamics of black culture, gospel music, Southern blues, country, and folk music (known as Americana).
We learn about the man and his musical inspiration. We also play some choice selections of Plant performing, most notably an absolutely beautiful song ("I Bid You Goodnight") his former band refused to let him sing at the conclusion of their shows.
